Born on Monday

Ah, Solomon Grundy. Laughable foe of Hannah Barbera's Super Friends. Don't believe me? Try and catch a fragment of "Challenge of the Super Friends" where Grundy actually talks. He speaks in 3rd person, and has a Cajun accent. Now the Deenur has spoken in 3rd person oft times, and has spoken with a fake Cajun accent- but NEVER both at once. Cartoon network did a "promo" of him demanding pants! Go figure.

Seriously, Grundy is a powerful foe. He was killed in a swamp and came back as a zombie. He has been shown to have strength nearly equal to Superman (actually its more like the Thing) and has Amazing body resistance to injury. He also gets back some health every round. He's as dumb as a bag of hammers, but who cares when you want a good ol' fashioned fist fight. Let throw him up against 5 Marvel powerhouses and see how he does.

1) The Thing- the are exactly matched on strength and body damage resistance. Ben Grimm has wrestling and martial arts grappling skills which give him the edge. It will be a long drawn out battle, with Grimm taking the victory.

2) Luke Cage- I love Power Man. NetFlix did a great job with him as a character before cancelling the series. He's powerful and has regen skills. He is skilled in street fighting and martial arts, but his strength and resistance levels are both below Grundy's. Cage wouldn't back down from the fight, but the win has to go to Grundy.

3) Colossus- the mutant X-man that can turn into organic steel. His strength is one level above Grundy, his resistance is equal. He can heal up any damage suffered in his armored form when he reverts to human. Good fight but Colossus outlasts him.

4) Vision- Strength equal to Grundy, with the capability to raise it higher at the cost of mobility, a solar beam, optional intangibility, disruption when he reforms inside someone, and a higher regeneration factor. Vision takes the victory.

5) Ironman- Strength equal to Grundy, resistance equal to Grundy, and a vast array of electrical weapons including repulsor rays, energy absorption, a uni-beam and a sonic attack. Because no offense weapon on the armor is rated above MN 75 damage, Stark would have to use the armor's override capability and hope he takes out Grundy before the armor fails.
