I'm just gonna go ahead and do it
I know I'm going to get called biased, or fanboy, but I don't care. People pick one DC character all the time to run roughshod over Marvel's entire lineup. The guy they usually pick is Superman or Green Lantern or Batman (and rightfully so), making the case that these characters are nearly unstoppable. Well it's payback time. I wanted to pick one Marvel guy that could lay waste to DC's heaviest hitters, and actually run the battles (no guessing!). DC is known for its cosmic, over-powered heroes and villains. Let's see how they stack up against a normal guy, powered by an abnormal accident.
People may assume that my pick is Hulk or Silver Surfer. They are both great choices. But they are not my guy. My guy is Owen Reece.
The Molecule Man. A little background: He first appeared in Fantastic Four #20 in November 1963. Reece accidentally activated an experimental particle generator, which bombarded him with an extrademensional radiation. The radiation mutated Reece, releasing his potential for power on a cosmic scale, controlling all matter, down to the molecular level, and all energy.
MM will take on the biggest of the big, hero or villain. I believe he can and will beat anybody. I'm going to fill 8 slots and let you, my readers pick 2. Anybody is welcome (but no cosmic entities like Galactus or Living Tribunal). Let's watch the lowly lab tech lay waste to the DC universe.
The set up: The Grandmaster picks Reece's opponents out of thin air, one at a time, and places them with Reece in an impenetrable 132'x132'x132' arena. Neither combatant can be released until opponent health is at 0. The roster?
1) Superman- we have to. I don't think he can beat Reece, and that's too bad. For Supes fans.
2) Doomsday- the guy who killed Superman. I already know how Doomsie is probably going to die.
3) Eclipso- the embodiment of a god's wrath. Not a cosmic entity though. Hmmm.
4) Darkseid- Master of Apokolips, nemesis of the JLA. Total BA.
5) Dr Manhattan- a nuclear physicist who got trapped in a radioactive particle test. The generator tore him to pieces and vaporized him. He came back as Manhattan.
6) Captain Atom- a nuclear superhero, with control over a power named the Quantum Field, which gives him infinite energy. Sort of.
7) Black Adam- a corrupted, ancient Egyptian predecessor of Shazam, and Shazam's arch enemy.
8) Lobo- a Czarnian with exceptional strength and fortitude. He enjoys nothing better than mindless violence and intoxication. Hey its a fight. How can we leave this guy out?

There a more than a few noteworthy exclusions: Trigon, Parallax, Spectre, Anti-Monitor, and Kismet among them. Most people would consider these combatants as cosmic entities (Galactus level foes). Not every DC character has a profile for the game system (SuperBoy Prime for example) and may have to be excluded on that fact. The point is to have fun, not draw an exhaustive list.
These battles will all be fought fairly, without bias, and while I may be rooting for Reece to destroy every one of them, he will be getting no chancies. Results below.
1) Superman- Superman flies at Molecule Man, Reece blacks out the sun within the arena and uses his superior flight ability to fly out of the way. He then uses his micro environment to protect himself while turning all the air in the arena to kryptonite. Superman falls to the ground and loses health rapidly. Health 0.
2) Doomsday- Runs at Molecule Man with fists raised high. Reece changes the air around Doomsie to a true adamantium sphere with 5' thick walls. Doomsday has a health of 1150 and attacks the sphere. He has a 14% chance of damaging 2" of the wall with each hit, but unsuccessful attacks take 6 pts of health of Doomsday. 100 hits later (3.3 minutes to be exact), Doomsday has damaged 28" of inside wall, but has received 172 points of damage himself. Reece increases the psi inside the sphere to 10 atmospheres, or 147 psi. An additional 100 hits later, Doomsday has damaged 56 inches of internal wall, which Reece repairs to the original thickness. Doomsday has to start over on the adamantium and has 344 points of health damage. Reece increases the psi inside the sphere to 1500 psi. Doomsday begins attacking the inner wall again and Reece increases the psi to 30,000, crushing Doomsday under the weight of 100,800 tons. Health plunges to 0.
3) Eclipso- flies at Reece, fist cocked. Reece bathes the inside of the arena in pure sunlight. Eclipso drops to the ground. Reece drops a 100-ton rock on him. Health 0.
4) Darkseid- Darkseid fires the Omega effect. Reece teleports to the other side of the arena and showers Darkseid with radion. As the Omega beams continue to track, Reece teleports out of the way. Darkseid falls to his knees as the radion continues. The Omega beams dissipate. Darkside falls unconscious and loses all his health under the radion attack. Game over.
5) Dr Manhattan- Yes the Doc has elemental and molecular conversion just like Reece. But Manhattan's power rating is 100, and Reece's is 1000 (4 levels higher). A tachyon shower reduces Manhattan to mush. Health 0.
6) Captain Atom- Atom fires a 100 level quantum energy blast at Reece. Reece shrugs it off. Reece fires a 3000 level disintegration beam. Atom comes apart at the molecular level. His remains quantum jump 300 years into the future.
7) Black Adam- BA flies to get a better view. Reece disappears and a gold coin appears on the ground. BA lands near the coin and yells SHAZAM! BA steps out of the way and the lightning hits the coin with a force 100 blast. The coin is unaffected. BA picks up the coin and tries to crush it. Now that BA is touching the coin, Reece (residing inside it) attacks BA with mental domination. BA tries to resist with his Psyche (level 30) against Reece's level 1000 mind control. BA fails and Reece takes over Adam's psyche. Compelled by Reece, BA yells SHAZAM! and transforms into Seth Adam. Reece drops a 50 ton rock on him before teleporting to the other side of the arena at the last second. BA health 0.
8) Lobo- Lobo sees Reece and starts laughing. Reece covers himself in a head to toe suit of chainmail with a vibranium/adamantium mix (level 500). His left fist is covered with a gauntlet of Antarctic version of vibranium known as "anti metal" his right fist with a gauntlet of Adamantine: the Greek version of True Adamantium. MM fools around for a couple of rounds (Lobo has no power that can touch him) and then he bashes Lobo into pulp. Impossible you say? Owen Reece is that powerful folks.
