What's It All About?

Before we begin, I must qualify these battles.

FASERIP is a battle systems that rates the basic talents and abilities of Marvel and DC heroes- Fighting, Agility, Strength, Endurance, Reasoning, Intuition and Psyche.

 

The parameters set forth in these contests are determined by comic book editors, writers and historians, not me. The purpose of this website (and these fights) is to add some context to the endless arguments over Marvel vs DC.

 

With these measurable real-world metrics, there can be no subjectivity or opinion as to the outcomes. We use these metrics not because they favor Marvel (Batman will probably win most of his fights), but because there is a database related to this combat system that indexes over 1,000 DC and Marvel characters, that is being updated annually, even in to 2025. That being said...

We actually fight the battles- objectively, and conclusively. Some people will criticize the random results of dice rolls. Dice rolls serve to mimic the real world observation that "at any time, anyone can beat anyone." Don't believe me? Batman vs Darkseid. Squirrel Girl vs a number of foes. So yes, real world metrics. 

There will be NO guesswork.

The COMBAT SETUP: No warning, no prep as they both combatants are randomly whisked away by the Oddsmaker, and forced to fight (no one released) until a victor is declared! Opponents must be reduced to health 0 for a contestant to secure the victory (rendering unconscious by chemical means is not enough). The arena is a 1 area (132') x 1 area x 1 area high arena surrounded by a Class 5000 forcefield, with an Amazing 50 buffer. The buffer will hurt contestants if they are slammed into it and unable to sustain an AM 50 blunt force attack. Below is the official Marvel/TSR comabt chart reflecting the number values of each rating, from 0-5000.
